For my Music Magazine I have decided to use three programs that are Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

This Photoshop video is very helpful, it shows a lot of shortcuts and different tools that make jobs easier than the ones I'm used to using. It also taught me how to use auto select and refine edges which was useful when doing my front cover because of the layering I had to do with my model's head over the page's title and with the drumsticks over the text.

Skin Retouching Photoshop Tutorial

This tutorial explains how to retouch the skin on the face and remove any unwanted blemishes or wrinkles. It is very helpful because it shows what each tool does and how you can use it for the different things you would like to get rid of. It will also mean I can correct any images I take instead of having to put makeup on to correct the models beforehand.

Adobe Illustrator Tutorial: How to Make Banners / Ribbons

This video talks through how to make banners using Illustrator. This is useful because I can then use a banner that I made in my magazine to put a subheading or title on to make the page more interesting.

This tutorial shows the basics of Illustrator which is very useful as I haven't really used Illustrator before. It shows the basic tools and what they do by showing directly using different objects on the screen.

This video is very useful because he explains the basics of InDesign and shows how to start a blank template and explains the tools by showing what they do.

How to design a magazine cover Indesign TUTORIAL

This tutorial is partly useful because it is showing exactly how to make a music magazine cover, however it is using an older version of IndDesign and has no speaking making it difficult to follow.
